Thoughts of the Week

Motivation alone is not enough to get you to the results you are looking for. To continue along your path, you need to put habits in place that allow you to catch yourself when the initial fire from the motivation starts to fade. Whether the habit is something small like making your bed when you wake up in the morning to establish a quick win or a complicated habit that requires multiple steps to complete. You need to have something that keeps you grounded as that will ultimately be the reason you reach your goals, or come up short. You can do it, believe in yourself.

Workout of the Week

This week's workout is a full body complex using a single kettlebell. This can be a bit complicated if you are unfamiliar with the moves, but by practicing each individually you'll be able to string them together for a smooth complex. Take a look at the video for a demonstration. See workout here.

Recipe of the Week - Orange, Carrot, Ginger Juice

Juicing is a great way to include servings of vegetables that you may struggle to normally include in your daily diet. There are so many health benefits to each of these three simple ingredients.


Ingredients:

  • 4 medium sized carrots

  • 3 medium sized oranges

  • 2 inch piece of ginger root

Steps:

  1. Place all into juicer, blender, or food processor

  2. Enjoy the awesome juice!
