Weekly Catchup 3/7/2022 - 3/13/2022
“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.”
– Zig Ziglar
Thoughts of the Week
Getting started is one of the most difficult things to do, whether it's getting started for the first time or restarting. Often times what hinders getting started is the apprehension that you must be excellent at whatever it is your starting or there is no point to start it. This couldn't be farther from the truth. The process of starting involves getting past what frightens you the most so that you can achieve something that you never thought you could. You could be starting out with a goal of completing 10 pushups in a row, your first step is completing that first rep.
Try something new today, greatness awaits.
Workout of the Week
This week we have a ladder workout, ladders are fun because they incorporate different movements in rapid succession and they give you a way to measure progress through time. Try your best to complete this as fast as you can, then come back a week later and see if you can beat your time!

Recipe of the Week
Orzo, Butternut, Chard & Chicken Sausage Medley
The recipe this week from FitMenCook.com is delicious, I substituted the vegan sausage in the recipe with chicken apple sausage. I'd recommend adding the maple syrup to the butternut squash as it was a great flavor when everything was brought together.
